Federica Moro’s career began in 1982 when she won the Miss Italy title at the age of 17. The following year she starred alongside Adriano Celentano in the blockbuster film “Segni particolari: bellissimo” and hosted the music programme Happy Magic on Rai 1. In 1984 she played the role of Arianna in “College”, the film from which the TV spin-off of the same name was adapted and broadcast in 1990, one of the cult TV series of the time, which was a great success in terms of ratings and popularity, especially among young people. In 1986, she was again alongside Celentano in “Joan Lui – Ma un giorno nel paese arrivo io di lunedì” and took part in two episodes of Yuppies, “Yuppies, i giovani di successo” and “Yuppies 2”. In 1988 she starred in his first international film ‘La partita’, directed by Carlo Vanzina. After the success of ‘College’, she was one of the stars of the TV series ‘Aquile’ aired on Rai 2 in the early 1990s, and in the summer of 1992 she co-hosted with Paolo Bonolis on Channel 5 the Festival internazionale Stelle del Circo. From 2004 to 2006 she presented L’Aia-Danza e suoni del Mediterraneo on Telenorba, a programme on puglian folk music. In 2011 she hosts World Boat on the thematic channel Yacht & Sail. In Lugano, she hosts the Spring Ball Lugano/Monte-Carlo three times, sponsored by the Consulate of the Principality of Monaco and supported by the City of Lugano. In September 2016 she is a member of the technical jury of Miss Italia 2016, broadcast on LA7.
